How have you benefited from your service in the Navy Reserve?
There are many benefits to being a reservist. One of the greatest benefits I have experienced was the Navy assisting me with my educational ambitions. The Navy paid for a large portion of both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees that continue to benefit me in both my civilian and military careers.
Why did you choose to join the Navy Reserve?
I chose the Navy Reserve because of the vast amount of opportunities this branch of the military offered. Some of my mentors and colleagues in law enforcement had served in the Navy and their level of competency and commitment always resonated with me.
In my Navy…
You can achieve great things. It is up to us as Sailors to make a difference and help our communities – I am honored to do my part.
